For the sake of this project, I'm just lumping Prussia in with German artists because I don't want the headache of researching Prussian artists for this. But I thought Albrecht Duhrer fit Germany's personality better, and Kirchner (a German Expressionist artist) was much more bold and colorful so I thought it suited Prussia better.
I'm also trying really hard to not dominate the list with France and Spain because with every European art movement, there's always a famous French or Spanish artist associated with it. It's actually getting to be a little difficult.
I actually have a fancomic about France and the Avant Garde that I want to do. In my headcanon, Spain has always been a pretty decent artist, but then France (who is busy introducing anyone and everyone to the Avant Garde) accidentally discovers that Spain is a savant at modern art. Cue Spain's surrealist period. Oh noes!
